Western National Mutual Insurance Company Completes Merger with Farmers Home Mutual Insurance Company

Western National Mutual Insurance Company today announced that it has completed its merger with Farmers Home Mutual Insurance Company, effective December 31, 2007. The completed merger follows final approval by each company’s Board of Directors and policyholders, and final regulatory approval from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

“The completion of this merger means that our partner agents, employees, and policyholders can now experience the added financial strength and efficiencies of working with a single Western National brand,” said company president and chief executive officer, Stuart C. Henderson, JD, CPCU. “We again thank everyone involved for their efforts throughout this merger process, and we look forward to the continued success of the Western National Insurance Group”
